Bug Food

Tonight I walked out to Hicks Lake to see if I could get some pictures of the bats that are there. All I managed to do was feed the misquotes.

First I thought I had the timing right, but nope I left to early. Second, I thought nothing of sitting on a bench to wait to see how long it took to get dark enough for the bats to come out.

When one of the nasty little blood suckers landed on my arm and it was the size of a small bird. I left. I will have to try on another night.

I did today go out when the great flaming evil ball of heat was up in the sky and get some pictures of Rhododendrons. We happen to have peach, pink, red, light purple, purple and yellow ones in my apartment. Tomorrow when I am going over to play Shadowrun I am going to have to remember to take my camera. Near the mall there is a parking lot that has orange ones.

Yes, Reef you should learn how to work that camera. I love mine.

Lady, it is not that I don't like the summer. It is that after working night shift for years the sunlight just hurts my eyes, and makes it to hot to sleep. So it is a flaming evil ball of heat.
