I did it. I have my 12 + 2 books picked out. I have been working on the list for about 2 weeks now. Out of curiosity I looked to see what others who have joined the challenge are reading. Wow! Is all I have to say. The challenge is being hosted over at Roof Beam Reader. I could do a copy paste of the rules but, I think going to the original blog is a good thing.

When I looked at the other lists that readers have compiled I noticed that there are a lot of classics. I read most of the more popular classics in school. I do think that was a benefit of being home schooled.

Glad you're joining us! I almost added The Historian to my list. I've owned The Man Who Loves Books too Much for a while, so I should probably get to that, too... and I hear good things about Inside of a Dog.
I hadn't heard of The Witch's Boy, but it sounds interesting... almost like a retelling of The Tempest, with fairie tales mixed in.

Hi Adam, I have heard wonderful things about Inside of a Dog, it almost makes me wish that I will have one book that I can't finish.
I thought the same thing about The Witches Boy.

Ha, no scandal. She was on tour with a bunch of folks who stayed at my place a few nights. It's just a funny thing to say.
